Lena Koppel was born in Sweden and partly grew up in Toronto. She studied directing at Focal in Berlin and Zurich. Lena has worked with everything from commercials to feature films. She has directed made-to-order films for organisations such as Save the Children and BRIS (Children’s Rights in Society), including the prize-winning features Love Boogie and Bombay Dreams, and a number of TV-series, among them Saltön and Höök. Lena has also directed and co-written the feature films True Moments, Rallybrudar, The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes and It is All About Friends.
